Recently our execution teams have energized the Sibiu West 110/20 kV Substation, a strategic project financed by European funds, through which we contribute to the development and modernization of the region’s energy infrastructure.
Through this investment, we ensure:
• the safety and continuity of electricity supply for existing consumers;
• increased connection capacity for new users in the Sibiu West Industrial Area.
Our specialists were involved in the execution of the following works:
• construction of a fully equipped 110/20 kV substation, including:
– 2 GIS 110 kV bays
– 2 110 kV transformer bays
– single-sectioned 110 kV busbar and coupling bay
– 2 power transformers of 31.5 MVA
– 20 kV switchgear consisting of 30 bays (transformer, line, neutral grounding, metering, coupling, capacitor banks, spare)
– neutral grounding system and capacitor banks
• execution of a double-circuit 110 kV underground cable line, connected to the Sibiu Nord – Orlat 110 kV overhead line;
• works in adjacent substations and full integration into the SCADA system.
Through this achievement, we once again demonstrate our ability to deliver complex projects to high standards of quality and safety, strengthening the reliability of the electrical network and supporting the economic development of the Sibiu West area.
