EnergoBit believes that helping people in need is a necessity that every company should consider and encourages its employees to participate in different charitable actions.
EnergoBit employees developed an internal charitable campaign for helping children in need, trying to offer them a reason to smile, in the spring of 2017.
We helped Oglinda kindergarten from Bontida, a village near Cluj-Napoca, by providing them a small part of their necessary things like: food, clothes and toys.
Actions like this are embraced by our colleagues all over the country; in addition, the employees from the Bucharest branch helped the social settlement “Sfintii Arhangheli Mihail si Gavril” from Slobozia, Giurgiu County, with different donations that brightened 35 souls.
EnergoBit organized an internal charitable action in order to offer Christmas presents to needy children living in different areas of the county, in the winter of 2014.
Joining the Shoe Box campaign, EnergoBit supported a civic initiative which was started by a family in 2007 by gathering gifts, packing them in shoeboxes and offering them to underprivileged children around Christmas time. The campaign spread impressively, managing to reach and make happier more than 40,000 children in only one season by collecting and distributing gifts from Romanians in 8 countries, 66 cities and 107 locations.
EnergoBit joined the well-known NGO by organizing an internal campaign, in the autumn of 2015. The event stimulated employees to participate in internal competitions and events, together with underprivileged children. The amounts of money gathered during these events were used to support education and health projects that targeted underprivileged families.
United Way is a worldwide organization that promotes the common good by creating opportunities for a better life. The United Way’s focus is on education, income and health, the building blocks for a good quality of life. They recruit people and organizations across the community, bringing passion, expertise and resources needed to get things done.
EnergoBit supported the Transylvania Autism Association, helping the children to organize an exhibition of handmade objects, at their headquarters in Cluj-Napoca.
Our employees had the chance to buy objects created by these special children and at the same time had the opportunity to help them with the acquisition of equipment for the Speech Therapy Department.
Happy Bit Box was born from EnergoBit`s collective potential of giving, based on the belief that together we can make a difference.
In this project, EnergoBit aims to support, through various donations, abandoned, disadvantaged children, deprived of any home or family support.
The company, together with its employees, joined in donating food, toys, medicine and health care products for the children from Valea Plopilor, Prahova County.
