In the context of accelerated transition towards renewable energy sources, Mr. Pop drew attention to the challenges posed by the existing infrastructure and the need to adjust regulatory mechanisms to meet the market’s growing demands.
Additionally, Florin Pop emphasized that the network connection process must be optimized to efficiently integrate new energy projects. The anticipated changes in the process of granting ATRs (Technical Connection Approvals) will be crucial for supporting renewable energy investments and achieving national green transition goals.
