EnergoBit – electric general contractor within the Aeolian project developed together with OMV Petrom

EnergoBit has signed with OMV Petrom the agreement which will insure the electric general contracting in the wind park developed by OMV Petrom in Dobrogea, by purchasing the company Wind Power Park, and which has an installed power of 45 MW.

Within this project, EnergoBit will supply a turn-key solution for the electric works from the wind park, which involves the electric design, the execution of the 20/110 kV transformer station, of 35 km medium voltage electric line and 35 km fibre optic networks, as well as the connection to the national energetic system.

At the same time, EnergoBit is continuing its successful collaboration with CEZ Group, from the wind park in Fantanele – the largest on-shore wind farm in Europe, having an installed power of 600 MW.

The above mentioned contracts, as well as other 5 contracts regarding works in wind farms, recently concluded, besides those already started in 2009, are consolidating the position of EnergoBit as the most important supplier of specialized engineering and electric works services in the wind farms field from Romania.

Operating in the energetic field since 1990, EnergoBit offers now a complete solution in electricity: studies and design, contracting in complex electric installations and specialized engineering services, production of medium and low voltage distribution equipment, production of street, architectural and industrial lighting equipment, engineering and design for electric networks, consultancy in energy efficiency and renewable energy matters.

EnergoBit Group has 400 employees all over the country, 160 of which being specialized engineers.

The Group’s headquarters are in Cluj and it operates on national level through its subsidiaries from Bucharest, Bacau, Brasov, Constanta and the production units in Cluj and Jibou.

EnergoBit is celebrating this year 20 years of operation in the electric field.
