Between the 5th and 10th of March EnergoBit attended the ‘Career in the Energy Industry’conference, organised by the Romanian Society of Power Engineers – SIER, via their Youth Subsidiary in Bucharest and hosted by the Central Library of the Bucharest Polytechnic University.
Over 20 of the top companies in the energy sector were invited to take part in the event and engage directly with the more than 450 young engineers and students attending the conference, in order to present the opportunities offered by the local energy industry in terms of practical training courses, internships, available posts and professional training and development programmes.
Mrs Catalina Dragomir attended the event as speaker, on behalf of EnergoBit, where she presented important aspects relating to the company and its development in the market place, as well as to its traditional customers and energy solutions provided. She further emphasised our company’s concern for continuous innovation and compliance with the latest energy requirements.
At the same, Mrs Dragomir underlined our company’s involvement in raising the level of education in this country, which is a strategic component of our activity. EnergoBit’s connection to academia—in this case the efforts to attract every year well-trained university graduates—has the potential of generating efficiency and flexibility, but also an increased ability to cope with competition and handle any future challenges.
By being actively engaged in partnerships with the academic environment, we will support the transition from a predominantly theory-based programme to a teaching strategy able to better address employer needs and requirements.
This conference is one of the largest career-oriented events dedicated to graduates and students in the energy sector, and EnergoBit stands alongside it, as a time-honoured
