EnergoBit Group has celebrated 17 years from foundation.

At the end of 2006 we have inaugurated EnergoCenter, the new offices of EnergoBit Group in Bucharest. The investment who raises up to 1.5 millions EUR, has been materialized in a five floors A class building.

We have already started in Jibou “Doubling of the production capability of EnergoBit Prod”. The project, in total amount of 1.2 millions EUR, consists of enlarging the production hall for transformer substations from 2000 sqm to 4000 sqm.

Taking into account the present condition of equipment and installations operating in most electric substations from the Romanian Energetic System, having a high ageing level, it is foreseen that, in the following 5 years, a high number of investments will be done in order to rehabilitate and modernize them.

The article herein will shortly present the protection solution for high power generator sets or for generator-transformer type blocks, based on numerical protection terminals of the North-American manufacturer Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL).
