Edmund O. Schweitzer III, founder, president and chief technology officer of Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is to be inducted into the National Inventors Hall of Fame in recognition of his invention of the digital protective relay. He will join the ranks of Thomas Edison, Henry Ford and Nikola Tesla. Schweitzer was included in the list of 19 inventors to receive this honor that was announced at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

This October, EnergoBit has completed a new important project for the company portfolio – Execution of low voltage electrical instalations, weak currents and design – CCTV execution, in Cateasca, Arges County.

The recloser concept implemented in Hungary has reached the second phase.
The pilot project took place at the end of 2013 when the first phase of installing the two reclosers was completed. The reclosers were manufactured by Tavrida and fitted with the new RC05 control panel.

This month EnergoBit completed a very important contract for its portfolio – Increasing energy efficiency by replacing old MV/LV power transformers with low loss transformers at FDEE Electrica Distribuţie Transilvania Sud.
