Between the 5th and 10th of March EnergoBit attended the ‘Career in the Energy Industry’conference, organised by the Romanian Society of Power Engineers – SIER, via their Youth Subsidiary in Bucharest and hosted by the Central Library of the Bucharest Polytechnic University.
In the beginning of 2018, our Compliance Officer, Mr Mihai Farcas, represented the company at two major events, organised by PricewaterhouseCooper and Pria Events, as well as at a course on the implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation.
EnergoBit extended its business to Western Romania.
EnergoBit and ELM Electromontaj teams have participated to the successful completion of the project „Câmpia Turzii 220/110/20 kV Substation modernization”, project completely developed in consortium with Siemens and Retrasib, having as beneficiary Transelectrica.
EnergoBit SA, one of the major Romanian suppliers of services and equipment for low, medium and high voltage electrical networks to the power sector has received new capital injection of around 40 milion RON from its existing shareholders, which will be used to sustain growth by working capital, as well as for extending the present production capacities and for the development of new products and services.

PRIAevents organized PRIA Urban Innovation conference – a unique platform for in-depth discussions between local governments, representatives of businesses, academia, urbanism, technology and services experts nationwide and internationally, as well as community leaders.
EnergoBit received the Excellence Diploma and the 2017 Euro-Constructii Trophy in the Sustainability & CSR section of the 4 th edition of the award ceremony.
The challenge of the first project to build an electricity storage system in batteries for the Cobadin Wind Farm was successfully completed by EnergoBit. This system is the way in which the wind farm will flatten forecasting differences, of generated electricity. The works having a total value of around 180,000 Euro began in August 2016 and were completed in February this year under the coordination of our colleagues.
